Fuel surcharge for domestic and international parcel and transport unit services

The fuel surcharge is applicable to contract customers' domestic and international parcel and transport unit services. The fuel surcharge will be updated on a monthly basis.

From 2 April 2013, we will apply a 13,67 % fuel surcharge to parcels and transport units.
From 3 May 2013, we will apply a 13,01 % fuel surcharge to parcels and transport units.

The fuel surcharge is tied to the development of the fuel factor of Statistics Finland's cost index on the road transport of goods.

Fuel surcharge for domestic freight services

For domestic cargo services, the fuel surcharge is 28,83 % as of 2 April 2013.
For domestic cargo services, the fuel surcharge is 29,17 % as of 29 April 2013.

The fuel surcharge, updated on a monthly basis, is based on the EuroShell price in Finland.

Fuel surcharge for domestic printed matter transport services

The fuel surcharge is applicable to contract customers' domestic printed matter transport services. The fuel surcharge is tied to the development of the fuel factor of Statistics Finland's cost index on the road transport of goods. The fuel surcharge will be updated on a monthly basis.

From 1 April 2013, we will apply a 15,68 % fuel surcharge to transport domestic printed matter transport services.
From 1 May 2013, we will apply a 14,92 % fuel surcharge to transport domestic printed matter transport services.

Fuel and cargo surcharge for domestic air transports of publications

A Fuel and cargo surcharge will only be applied to customers with an air transport contract with Itella. The surcharge will vary according to market prices, and will equal the fuel and cargo surcharge charged by the airline from Itella. The amount of surcharge will be updated at intervals of around three months.
