IDM – International direct mail
A convenient and inexpensive way to send addressed direct mail abroad.
Our International direct mail (IDM) Service will boost your export efforts in key European markets and the United States. The service enables you to reach the targeted addressees, improve customer solicitation and increase sales as well as take care of your international customers with ease.
The same IDM indication is valid to 23 countries. The service fee is the same for all countries.

| Indications and Codes |
The same payment indication is valid for all countries.The IDM indication includes the telephone service country code for Finland (358), the customer number and the words ‘Port Payé’. The IDM indication may be printed either in black, red (Pantone red 185, coated/uncoated) or blue (Pantone blue 287, coated/uncoated). Minimum size: 300mm (‘Port Payé’ indication, country code and customer number clearly legible) Maximum size: 74mm x 40mm The sender’s address can be either the company’s Finnish address or an address in the destination country. A local P.O. Box address may also be used. |
| Sending |
A mailing should include a minimum of 500 items/country. Mailings may be posted at separately agreed postal outlets, sorted into country-specific transport units. There is no need to bundle or presort mailings that can be machine sorted. Other mailings are bundled or placed in cardboard boxes in ascending or descending order by postal code. The maximum thickness and weight for a bundle is 150mm and 5kg, respectively. |

The pricing of the IDM service is based on the number and weight of the items. The rates are the same for all IDM countries. |

Undelivered items will be returned to the sender in accordance with the regulations concerning the retention period in the destination country. |
| Restrictions as to Content |
The items should be identical, except for the addressee’s name, address and identifying number as well as other differences that do no alter the nature of the message. Invoices, goods or personal messages related to the addressee’s private life may not be sent through the IDM service; for these purposes, we offer our international Priority and Economy letter services. |
