Domestic publication services were renewed 1.1.2013
Domestic addressed letter, direct mail and publication services (addressed newspapers and magazines) ordered through a mailing list were changed at the beginning of the year.
The number of publication services has been reduced by more than half. In addition, payment indications and pre-processing were changed.
Addressed newspapers and magazines
Itella Press Pro 1 and 2 delivery services for publications.
Delivery service for newspapers and magazines published at least four times a year and with a minimum batch size of 1,000 items. In Press Pro 1 service, the newspapers and magazines will be delivered on the next weekday, in the Press Pro 2 service on the second weekday.
Itella Press Pro Local delivery service.
A delivery service for local newspapers published at least 48 times a year with a minimum batch size of 1,000 items and are delivered to a relatively unchanged group of addressees.
These solutions require the provision of advance information and more precise pre-processing than our other publication solutions.
For easy posting
The Press Basic service is designed for various publications that look like a magazine or newspaper and can be processed as such. The services are suitable for companies and associations that appreciate easy posting.
Itella Bundle Delivery 1 and 2 are for easy posting when delivering various items as a bundle to the recipient.
Delivery of publications
Itella has the most comprehensive office and delivery network in Finland. Through local know-how and a comprehensive geographical offering, we deliver publications to the subscribers, meeting the needs of the client, with the help of high-quality delivery service packages.
Publications are usually delivered in basic delivery on business days (Mon–Fri) by 4 p.m. Early-morning newspaper delivery as well as Saturday or Sunday delivery is always agreed separately. Early-morning delivery operates seven days a week, and the papers are delivered in the small hours on a delivery-area-specific basis at the agreed time. For no-address publications, we provide stand delivery as a service supplementing mail slot and box delivery.
Sending publications abroad
Publications with a destination outside Finland are mailed as Priority or Economy Letters. If the mailing is large, you can also use the Consignment service.
